
Definition
The rCSI is used to assess the level of stress faced by the household due to a food shortage. It is calculated using of the five standard
strategies over a 7-day recall period.

Justification
The rCSI measures the level of stress a household faces when exposed to a food shortage by assessing the frequency of adoption.
The higher the stress, the higher the behavioral responses and the index.
